We all have those days when extra cash is needed. The car breaks down on the way to work. An unexpected medical appointment adds an extra bill payment to your monthly expenses. Or maybe you come home to a burst pipe or a leaky faucet. Emergencies happen to us all.
🎫 Got a parking ticket
🚙 Car got towed
🍼 Had to buy extra diapers or milk
🍞Groceries or gas prices go up!
Some days you can get by without spending a dollar, but other days a few extra dollars would really help to tide you over until the next paycheck.
That’s exactly why we launched Grit. Our smart money management platform empowers employees to access their earned wages the day after they earn them – even before payday. It’s free to sign up, and there are lots of additional benefits too, like cash-back on purchases when you use your Grit account, and higher interest earnings than regular banks offer.
Here’s how it works:
- Sign up for a Grit account online
- Download the Grit app
- Start accessing your earned wages!
Step 1- Sign up for a Grit account online

Go to https://gritapp.gritfinancial.org/employee/intro and enter your information, including your employer details. We’ll need to know who your employer is so we can verify your employment and your identity – for security purposes of course. Rest assured we’ve got the highest security certifications available to keep your data safe.
Step 2- Download the Grit app

You can access Grit on the iOS app store for your iPhone or on Google Play for your Android. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to complete your settings. In order to move your early wage funds easily from your bank account to Grit, you’ll need to link the two, or opt for the premium service (also free of charge) by switching your payroll direct deposits to Grit.
Step 3- Start accessing your earned wages!
